About Olivia Barvin, Attorney at Law

My name is Olivia Barvin, and I am a U.S. immigration attorney focused exclusively on family-based immigration. I have been practicing immigration law since 2014, helping individuals and families navigate one of the most important—and emotionally charged—legal processes of their lives: building a future together in the United States.

My Commitment to Excellence

I began my legal career immediately after law school when I was awarded a highly competitive Equal Justice Works Fellowship. As an EJW Fellow, I represented hundreds of survivors of violent crime, domestic violence, and human trafficking. In that role, I advocated for some of the most vulnerable members of the Houston community, guiding them through complex immigration systems while prioritizing safety, dignity, and long-term stability. After completing my fellowship, I entered private practice in Houston, Texas, where I continued my work in humanitarian immigration while expanding my practice to include family-based immigration cases. Over time, I developed a deep understanding of the legal, procedural, and practical challenges faced by U.S. citizens petitioning for their spouses and family members.

In 2022, I moved to Tel Aviv, Israel with my family where I now represent individuals and families who are hoping to secure their U.S. immigration status.

Living abroad allows me to bring both legal insight and lived understanding to cross-border families navigating consular processing, embassy procedures, and long-distance case management.
